I hardly noticed this place driving by. I heard they do line dancing classes on Thursdays (and also swing dancing classes on Fridays), so I checked it out. It's a nice little bar. I like the layout where the tables/chairs are on the perimeter. The dance floor is a decent size. The drinks were perfect. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The customers were super nice and lively. I thought Sarah did a great job teaching, and I enjoyed the class. I'll have to come back and try the food so I can update my review.

Jans Lounge is back, apparently under new ownership. The front face of its outside doesn't reveal how cozy it is inside. Huge dancefloor and raised stage for their regular scheduled local bands, and the music we heard was outstanding. Rather good looking bar. Everyone was commenting about the friendly and fast service. High standards for cleanliness. The crowd seemed to be enjoying themselves. Lots of happy people.

I absolutely love this bar and find myself there just about every Thursday for line dancing and sometimes on Fridays for swing dancing. Everyone here is super friendly and caring and always willing to help someone like myself learn a new dance or move. Sarah the dance instructor is amazing! She is super friendly and a genuine human who’s very inclusive regardless of your dance level. She’s a great teacher and I have loved learning new moves and dances from her. The only reason I gave Jan’s 4 stars instead of 5 is that when a lot of people are dancing the bar gets sooooo hot. They could benefit from getting 2 industrial fans to keep the bar from getting too hot or smelly from everyone moving around.

What a great local bar. There was a band, the drinks were reasonable. But it was 🥶 cold outside and inside. We had a nice time and I would definitely return.

When the bartender calls last call 15 minutes before closing and refuses to pour a single shot 10 minutes before closing, then cops an attitude when asked why. The young red headed bartender is always super nice and professional; but the older lady, whoever she is, I will never even give her my business again.

So let's start with food they have normal bar bites small menu but good! Karaoke every Sunday starting at 7pm-11pm Tuesday 9pm-1am Wednesday 7pm-11pm Atmosphere that you get to sing on the stage multiple TVs to be able to sing from. Lots of ceding some games in the back!

My first time there since the pandemic and the new ownership and I definitely like the fresh new vibe there. The place was packed as a popular band played. Service was ok, typical for a decent bar.
